As Colorado Director of Sales, Troy will be responsible for the Individual and Medicare lines of business and will direct and oversee sales staffing, policies, and initiatives focused on achieving specific sales targets. He will also be responsible for developing business plans and strategies, searching for market opportunities that can be met by Select Health’s products and services, and developing relationships with brokers to represent and promote Select Health. Working closely with senior leadership, finance, and operational teams, Troy will help Select Health build market presence and gain membership in Colorado. 

Prior to joining Select Health, Troy served as Senior Sales Executive – Individual at Friday Health Plans in Denver, working directly with agent and broker firms on sales readiness and increasing market penetration by building brand awareness. 

As a sales executive at Kaiser Permanente, Troy conducted product training and sales presentations and ensured product offerings were in line with customers’ needs. Troy has also held other sales and consultant positions at Kaiser Permanente and UnitedHealthcare, with a combined 15 years of experience in health insurance. Troy has a master’s degree in sport administration and a bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of Northern Colorado. Troy and his wife, Molly, have one son and three daughters, and they currently live in Windsor, Colorado.
