How to Submit Dental Claims

Vyne helps Select Health dental providers simplify administrative tasks and accelerate reimbursements through its secure platform. By submitting claims through Vyne, you can reduce errors, improve compliance, and spend more time on patient care.
To ensure smooth processing, please follow these important documentation guidelines:
- Perio Charts: Perio charts must include the patient’s name and exam date.
- Chart Notes: If required, chart notes must be complete, include the patient’s name and date of service, and be signed by the provider. Screenshots or cut and pasted notes will not be accepted.
- Replacement Crowns: Include the date of prior crown placement on the claim or in a Vyne note.
- Guided Tissue Regeneration Codes: Product name must be documented in the legal chart note.
- Bone Graft Codes: Review carefully to ensure correct reporting based on accompanying procedures.
- Covered Claims: No additional documentation is required if submitting only covered claim codes.
- Claims That Require Additional Documenation: Review the claim code list. Some dental codes require additional information or documentation for Select Health to determine the necessity of the dental care. This list consists of the most common codes that require additional information.
IMPORTANT: Any claim that includes possibly covered codes, regardless of the submission method, must include necessary documentation (such as x-rays, perio charts, and/or chart notes).

- Print ADA claim form from clearinghouse system.
- Include necessary documentation if submitting any possibly covered codes.
