Tina Ballamis
As the Desert Region AVP, Tina brings with her 25 years of healthcare experience. This includes many years as Select Health’s Senior Provider Development Operations Manager with accountability for strategic provider data management, strategic alliances in Idaho/Nevada, and provider compliance.
Tina’s experience also includes time at Intermountain Healthcare as a Senior Regulatory Partner in Compliance and time in Product Development at Select Health overseeing ACA products and provider network strategies for Nevada and Idaho.
She enjoys attending live music events and traveling with her family.
Mark Libman
Mark Libman serves as Director of Provider Development for Select Health’s Desert Region, Mark will direct the efforts to enhance the provider network, foster strong provider partnerships, and support our mission of delivering affordable, high-quality healthcare to our members.
With extensive experience in network development, value-based contracting, and provider performance management, Mark brings deep market insight and a collaborative approach to building strong partnerships. His leadership ensures providers have the tools and support needed to deliver exceptional care to our members.
Mark is an avid vinyl collector and, in his spare time outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, staying active at the gym, and is a frustrated, amateur oil painter.
Chuck Gunter
Former cruise ship headliner who wanted to make a bigger impact in his community through healthcare.
Chuck has Professional experience in healthcare quality, credentialing, data analysis emergency medicine, home health, and insurance.
Chuck has a passion for fitness, nutrition, and healthy living. A firm believer that dedication to a healthy lifestyle reflects one's positive mindset and overall well-being. These attributes help him serve the Select Health members and providers to the highest possible level.
Belinda Veloz
Belinda Veloz has over 10 years of experience in network contracting, provider relations, and product and account management in both Las Vegas and Northern Nevada. She has worked as a Provider Relations Manager and a Senior Contract Negotiator for Intermountain Nevada and another health plan.
Prior to her career in healthcare, she worked in the hospitality and banking industry.
Luis Rodriguez
Luis joined Select Health in 2023 and currently serves as a Network Engagement Representative, supporting provider networks in Southern Nevada. With hands-on experience spanning from physician offices to frontline insurance support, Luis brings a well-rounded understanding of healthcare operations that strengthens his ability to build collaborative relationships and streamline processes. His focus is on ensuring providers and members receive the highest level of service and support.
