Renewing Medicaid Coverage

Medicaid coverage isn’t automatic – you need to renew it to keep your benefits. The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) will send you a letter to the contact information you provided on your application about a month before your coverage ends, letting you know what to do next. If you don’t get a letter or are unsure when you need to reapply, you can get all the information online at: 

Each time you renew, DWS will need to verify your information to make sure you still qualify. Be sure to respond quickly and provide any documents they request so there’s no gap in your coverage.
