An unexpected fall can have a big impact on your patients’ lives. The good news is that many falls can be prevented with additional education and training and Select Health wants to help with the following information.

Compliance Training & Attestation

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for fraud/waste/abuse (FWA) compliance trainings and attestation are described in the table below. Providers completing these training efforts should submit a training attestation.

Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) Model of Care Abbreviated Training

Select Health has contracted with the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to begin a Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) effective January 1, 2022. This plan type requires developing a detailed Model of Care (MOC) for CMS approval. Effective January 1, 2023, Select Health will reimburse providers at 100% of the Medicare fee schedule for D-SNP.

Cultural Competency Training

What is cultural competency? Cultural competency means learning to communicate with and treat people who may have a different experience than our own. It is a set of attitudes, skills, behaviors, and policies that allow us to provide member-centered care to members of all cultures.
